Pupil Leadership at Grange Primary School

At Grange, pupil leadership is a vital part of school life. Pupils from across year groups contribute through structured leadership roles that build confidence, responsibility, and a sense of pride in making a difference.

Leadership Roles
·         Young Ambassadors for Peace: Promote wellbeing and pupil voice through projects.

·         Student Council: Represent class views, lead initiatives, and support school improvements.

·         Radio Grange: Share news, interviews, and entertainment with the school community.

·         Library Monitors: Manage the library and recommend books.

·         Sports Leaders: Encourage active playtimes and sportsmanship.

·         Spanish Ambassadors: Promote language learning and cultural awareness.

Firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you to every pupil who applied for a leadership role. We had so many enthusiastic applications from children who were keen to get involved, take on responsibility and make a positive difference at Grange.

Playground Buddies

Our Playground Buddies will help make lunchtimes happy, friendly and inclusive. They will support other children, encourage positive play and help everyone feel included.

Being a Student Leader is about much more than wearing a badge. It is about having a voice, taking responsibility, helping others and making a difference.

Throughout the year, our Student Leaders will have opportunities to develop their confidence, work as part of a team, lead activities, share their ideas and contribute to school life and our wider community.
