Wheelie Great Bike Trail
Wheelie Great Bike Trail
On Friday 12th June, our pupils took part in the Wheelie Great Bike Trail, an exciting event that combined learning, safety and fun.
Throughout the day, children developed their understanding of bike safety while taking part in a range of engaging activities. Pupils had the opportunity to make healthy smoothies using pedal-powered bikes, decorate their bikes, complete obstacle courses and watch an impressive professional BMX display.
One pupil shared:
“The Wheelie Great Bike Trail was an amazing idea to learn about bikes and bike safety. It was a blast as we got to decorate our bikes, complete an obstacle course and watch a professional BMX show. Overall, the bike trail was the best way to learn and have fun at the same time and I would love to take part in it again.”
– Aaliyah
Another pupil commented:
“I liked how we made a smoothie with a bike. At the end, we watched a bike show with champions performing. I also met the Mayor of Harrow and took a picture with him.”
– Mohammed Yaseen
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for pupils to learn valuable cycling and road safety skills, build confidence and enjoy being active. It was wonderful to see so many children engaged, enthusiastic and keen to take part in the activities.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in organising such a memorable experience for our pupils.
