Summer Fair 2026 – Sunshine, Smiles and Community Spirit!
What a fantastic Summer Fair!
Despite being towards the end of September, we were treated to glorious sunshine and wonderfully warm weather – it really did feel like August! The school was buzzing with excitement as families came together to enjoy an afternoon filled with fun, laughter and community spirit.
There was plenty for everyone to enjoy, including bouncy castles, stalls and a range of activities. It was wonderful to see so many happy children and families enjoying the afternoon together.
A huge thank you and well done to our amazing PTFA team for organising such a successful event. Special thanks also go to Shivani, our PTFA Chair, the whole PTFA team and all the staff who gave their time and support. Events like this simply would not be possible without everyone working together.
Student Council’s First Stall – Be Bright, Be Seen!
We were especially proud of our newly appointed Student Councillors, who took on the exciting challenge of running their very first stall.
Their ‘Be Bright, Be Seen’ stall promoted an important road-safety message as we move towards the darker autumn and winter months. The children sold high-visibility and reflective items to brighten up bags, bikes and scooters, encouraging everyone to make sure they can be easily seen when travelling.
Our Student Councillors did a fantastic job speaking to families, promoting their message and selling their items. Thanks to the wonderful support of our school community, they raised just over £100!
A Quiet Moment at Our Mobile Library
Our Mobile Library was also open during the fair, giving children and families the opportunity to step away from the excitement for a while, browse through our collection of books and enjoy some quiet reading together.
It was lovely to see families sitting, sharing books and enjoying our new library provision, which will soon be available for pupils to use during playtimes and lunchtimes.
The afternoon was a wonderful example of what makes our school community so special – families, pupils, staff and our PTFA coming together to create happy memories for our children.
A huge thank you to everyone who organised, helped, supported, purchased from our stalls or simply came along and joined in.
What a wonderful way to celebrate our Grange community!
