Primary Shakespeare Company Prize-Giving 2025 at the House Of Lords

For the second time in a row, we were lucky enough to win the Primary Shakespeare Company's Annie Williams Prize thanks to the hard work of last year's Year 5 children and staff. This is a prize that is awarded to the school that shows the children's outstanding immersion in the play and curriculum, demonstrating impact through attainment and the wider school community as well as the classes.

We could not be prouder of everyone's efforts and we are very grateful to be included in such a brilliant project year on year. On Thursday 18th September, we took two (now) Year 6 pupils to the House of Lords to help us do a presentation about the work completed in the Summer Term last academic year. Izan and Matei shared their thoughts about their own experience through the project which left the company's founders extremely impressed - they really did shine.

The prize-giving was such an inspiring afternoon and a brilliant celebration of the arts, music, creativity, collaboration and the power of Shakespeare for all children. It was wonderful to see other Harrow schools proudly representing the borough too.

Well done and congratulations to Malala Class and Rumi Class!
