Shakespeare Project

Each year our Year 5 pupils take part in the Primary Shakespeare Company's project in the Summer Term.

A different Shakespeare play is chosen every year and each class is responsible for one Act of the play. The Company send theatre practitioners into Grange to work with the pupils on their performance over the course of one half term and the project ends with a Festival Day where everyone performs their Act alongside other participating schools.

Learning across all subjects, including Home Learning, is linked to the chosen play for the year to fully immerse our pupils in their learning and it is always a great success - a good reminder to us all that William Shakespeare's work is accessible for anyone!
