At Grange, we know that children learn best when they feel safe, supported and ready to engage. Alongside our dedicated staff team, we work with a range of trusted external specialists to provide extra support for pupils who may need it. These services help us meet children’s social, emotional, mental health and communication needs, ensuring every child can thrive.
Our Therapeutic & Support Partners
- Play Therapy
1:1 sessions for identified children to help them explore feelings, build resilience and develop coping strategies through play. - Music Therapy
Specialist sessions using music to support communication, self-expression and emotional regulation - Speech and Language Therapy (SALT)
Our SALT team works individually with children to strengthen communication, speech and language skills - Mental Health Support Team (MHST)
- Brain Buddies whole-class programme to teach strategies for positive mental health
- 1:1 and small-group drama therapy to explore feelings and build confidence - Watford FC – Choices for Change
