New drop off/ pick up times starting on 19th April

31st March 2021

Dear Parents and Carers

As the Easter holidays approach, I am writing with a few timely reminders for the forthcoming Summer Term.

Firstly, with regard to uniform, children are invited to wear the summer uniform i.e. blue check dress, white shirt/polo shirt, grey or black shorts or skirt with grey, black or white socks on their return to school. Please note that black trainers are acceptable footwear for uniform.

I would also like to bring to your attention, the new drop off and pick up times starting on 19th April:

Drop Off time Furness Road (gate) Welbeck Road (field)   Pick up time Furness Road (gate) Welbeck Road (field)

As previously, younger siblings may be dropped off with their older siblings in the morning and for afternoon pick up older siblings may now be picked up with their younger siblings e.g. a year 2 child and a year 5 child from the same family can both be picked up at the Furness Road gate at 3.10 pm.

Finally, may I remind you of the following key dates:

Monday 19th April – Summer term starts as per above time slots
Monday 3rd May – Bank holiday
Thursday 6th May-  School closed for polling station (work will be posted on the Google classrooms)
Monday 31st May to Friday 4th June – Half Term week

I close by thanking you all for the tremendous support you give the school throughout this challenging year and on behalf of all the staff at Grange, may I wish you a happy and peaceful spring holiday.

For all of our community celebrating Easter, we wish you a happy and meaningful Easter; for all those celebrating Passover, we wish you a happy and meaningful Passover and for all those soon to be celebrating Ramadan, we wish you a happy and meaningful Ramadan.

Yours sincerely
Daniel Kerbel
