Learning together. Respecting each other. Achieving our potential.

Chair of Governor’s welcome to the New Head teacher for 2018-19

In the Spring term, staff and governors worked together on the process of advertising for,
interviewing and appointing a permanent Head Teacher for Grange. You may recall that Ms
Szymaniak left the school at the end of the Summer term last year and with Mr Parker, we
arranged for him to take up the role of Head for this school year, giving us time to carry out
this process for the permanent job.

Mr Parker, together with our Senior Leadership team have worked SO hard since then and I
know that a great many families have appreciated their work as well as the work and
commitment all of the teachers, Learning Support Assistants and other staff at the school
this year.

I’m now happy to be able to share news of Grange’s new Head Teacher. Mr Kerbel will be
coming to us from Earlham Primary School in Wood Green where he has been Head for 3
years. Before that he was Head at the North West London Jewish Day School for 8 years. Mr
Kerbel’s approach to leading a school is based on the idea that every single child has a
wealth of potential and I look forward to welcoming him to our school in the coming weeks.
